KOBO INSTRUCTIONS
Choose the audiobook of your choice. You are redirected to the Homepage of Kobo. Find the button “Create Account” on the upper right of the screen and click to start the free sign up process.
You now have the option to create your own login and password, or sign in with your Google, Facebook or Apple account. In our example we are creating the account from scratch.
Now verify your email address and make sure to check your spam folder as well. Rakuten Kobo asks you a few quick questions, suggesting it only takes about 30 seconds to personalize your book recommendations.
You may choose to go ahead with the questions by clicking “Let’s Get Started” or instead.
Choosing the option “Browse Store” brings you to a first overview of the audiobook library highlighting the book of your choice in the section called “Recently Viewed.” Click on the image depicting your book of choice and get redirected to the detailed view.
Here you have the opportunity to learn more about the audiobook, support the work with a helpful review, and add the book to your library.
To start listening, simply access your account in upper right-hand corner, choose the category “Books” and take a moment to download the free Kobo App to your phone or tablet either in the Apple Store or on Google Play.
Once you open the app, you sign in with the previously created account information and navigate to your downloaded books on the bottom of the Home Screen. You might have to then briefly download the audiobook and to be able to listen.
Add additional books by returning to my website or search them directly in your browser version of kobo or in the app.
