Nurturing Your Relationship with the Holy Name

November 27, 2017 by Pranada Comtois 1 Comment

This visualization/meditation is best listened to while sitting or lying down.  It’s been created to help you shift from inattention to a deeper loving focus while chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra in japa and kirtan.

Guided meditations have the power to shift or change impressions of the mind/subconscious or create new bhakti-infused ones. You can listen to this periodically to boost your appreciation and dedication.

Share with me your experience of the meditation. What did you like? What didn’t serve you well? What kind of meditation would you like to have to improve your spiritual life or practices?

Choose a quiet place and time where you can remain uninterrupted. Adjust the room temperature if necessary, and choose a comfortable chair or cushion to sit on. You can also lie down if you like. Make yourself comfortable and begin to focus on your breath.

I found this guided meditation to be quite helpful due to the initial emphasis on relaxing and then gradually envisioning the beautiful form of Krsna while meditating on His names .
