5 Steps to Bring Attention to Your Self at Your Heart

October 10, 2011 by Pranada Comtois Leave a Comment

This simple process can take as little as a few seconds. When you first begin it may take longer as you become accustomed to the steps. The more you practice, the quicker you will be able to seat your attention on your Self in the heart. In fact with practice, we can quickly dip down for guidance while walking, driving, riding the subway, a horse or a tractor. But initially give yourself sacred time to become familiar with your Self in your Conscious Heart.

1. Settle yourself into a comfortable position. Allow your breath to flow naturally and settle you further into your growing comfort.

2. Gently begin breathing into the area of your heart. You may place one or both hands over your heart, if that helps to bring your attention to the area.

3. Feel or hear your heart’s beat. This is usually the only organ we can perceive in this manner, pumping as it is with electricity and blood. This is the seat of individual consciousness, the place from where all the energy of our body is generated.

3. If you find yourself trying to focus your eyes at your heart, let them relax where they belong–in your head. You’re not trying to see with your eyes. You will be seeing with your conscious heart.

4. As you continue breathing into your heart and feeling its rhythm, you’ll notice the mind settles. As you continue to feel your breath around your heart, your breathing becomes more relaxed. You feel more comfort.

5. Once your awareness focuses on your physical heart in this way, visualize your Self as a sentient Being, a particle of spirit, gently resting on the airs in the vicinity of the physical heart. There is no need to visualize an exact form and what it looks like. Focus on where this spiritual being resides.

Notice your heart beating again. It is beating because your Self is seated there. When it comes time for you to leave, your heart will stop beating. Your spiritual Self is steady and safe, completely separate from the physical vehicle and engulfed by spiritual energy.

If you choose, visualize your Soul sitting next to SuperSoul, God in the heart.

When you arrive this way at your heart, you can begin any number of meditations, ask questions, listen for answers, give your Self love, ask for insights, make offerings to the Divine, or speak with him. There are no limitations to the experiences you have in your heart, or the ways you can consciously direct association with your genuine Self and God there.

The more you associate with your spiritual Self, while you visit the heart, or remember your place there, the more like that genuine Self you become in your waking life.

3 Parts of Our Conscious Heart

October 8, 2011 by Pranada Comtois Leave a Comment

Conscious Heart is explained here.

Core Heart

Core Heart is where we commune with and discover ourselves. From Core Heart we can know ourselves beyond the superficial level of seeing, feeling, and identifying with our bodies. As the observer of our thoughts, Core Heart knows we are not them. At Core Heart we know our true self in a relationship of complete acceptance and love.

Core Heart cares for us. It knows how and why we tick; our needs and boundaries; our empowering attitudes and the truth of our spiritual constitution. Core Heart is not deluded by mind games, manipulated by the subconscious, nor entrapped by false ego. The Core Heart is courageous and clear about our identity, integrity, and purpose. From Core Heart we touch, and are able to understand our purpose in the world.

Deep Heart

Deep Heart is where we develop enlightened rapport with others and our environment. Deep Heart wants to thrust the wealth we accumulate in Core Heart and selflessly give it to others: our significant others, our children, friends, colleagues—everyone we come in contact with on a daily basis.

From Deep Heart, we respect our world as much as we do our bodies, homes, and belongings by offering special care to every aspect of the world around us.

Infinite Heart

Infinite Heart is where we commune with SuperSoul, (God) Infinite Consciousness, who sits next to us in our heart. Communing with SuperSoul gives us the insight, strength, and abilities to fulfill the desires and attempts of our Core Heart and Deep Heart.

At the Infinite Heart level, SuperSoul is the central figure in our emotional and relational development. At Core Heart are were introduced to ourselves and began to love ourselves unconditionally. At Deep Heart unconditional love overflows and extends to fellow journeymen in life. With Infinite Heart we reach an exalted level of spiritual, emotional expression, as we begin to glimpse the true meaning of unconditional love. Here we encounter atemporal unconditional love. A love free from the constraints of time; a love that is fully, continuously reciprocated without bounds or conditions.

Here are 5 steps to bring attention to your Conscious Heart.

But this is just one of a million ways we can access and live from Conscious Heart. What are some of your ways?

A million hearts,
